As the Vice President of Marketing for the Undeclared College Council at San Diego State University, I oversee all social media efforts to connect with and engage the student community. I manage the council’s social media platforms, curating dynamic and visually appealing content that promotes events, resources, and initiatives tailored to undeclared students. My role involves planning and executing campaigns to increase visibility and participation, including creating original posts, stories, and interactive features like polls and Q&A sessions. I analyze social media metrics to track engagement and adjust strategies for maximum impact. Through consistent branding and creative storytelling, I ensure the council's digital presence fosters a sense of community and empowers students in their academic journeys.

In addition to my role in managing the social media presence for The Sage Project, Brownfields, and the Tijuana Historical Archives Project, my background in graphic design enhances the visual storytelling aspect of these initiatives. With my expertise, I meticulously craft visually compelling content that effectively communicates the missions and milestones of each project. Through strategic use of imagery, typography, and layout, I ensure that our message resonates with our audience, captivating them and fostering a strong online community dedicated to regional sustainability, environmental reclamation, and cultural preservation. By integrating graphic design principles into our communication strategies, I strive to amplify the impact of these initiatives, generating widespread awareness and support for our shared vision of a more sustainable and culturally enriched future.

​In my role overseeing a dynamic internship program, I employed my expertise in marketing and graphic design to drive its success. I led the recruitment and management of a team of 60 interns and 3 committee managers, utilizing strategic marketing techniques to attract top talent. Through innovative project development, I defined strategic goals and ensured their successful execution, leveraging graphic design to create visually compelling materials that resonated with our target audience nationwide. Additionally, in directing internship meetings, I provided refined guidance, fostering collaborative discussions around the AAPI community, DEI initiatives, and civic engagement, while also incorporating visually engaging presentations to enhance comprehension and engagement. This experience not only sharpened my leadership abilities but also allowed me to effectively leverage marketing and graphic design principles to achieve our program's objectives.
